Care of silk
Treat the weave gently, and it will stay with you for years.
Dry clean only for Muga, Paat and Kesa Paat. Store folded in muslin cloth bags, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and refold along different lines every few months so the zari never creases in one place.
Cotton and Nooni pieces can be gently hand-washed and dried in shade.
For the first wash, take particular care as natural fibres and hand-dyed colours may respond differently to washing.
Made to fit you
Because a beautiful weave deserves an equally thoughtful finish.
Mekhela Sador sets include blouse fabric, unstitched. After purchase, message us on WhatsApp with your measurements or a well-fitting blouse and we'll arrange stitching in Guwahati.
We provide different designs or can work from your design for a custom finish. Cost of standard tailoring of blouses is included in your purchase. Allow 7–10 working days from order to delivery. This service is optional.

We also accept orders through online consultations for personalised requirements. Please book through the service on our website or WhatsApp us for more details.
We charge a 50% advance amount at the time of placing the order. This advance is non-refundable, unless products are damaged or legitimate reasons are discussed mutually. Timelines can range from 5–18 weeks, subject to availability and season.
From our hands to yours
Every piece is checked, folded and packed with care before it begins its journey.
Every piece is shipped insured across India. Shipping is free on orders above ₹10,000; below that, a flat rate of ₹500 applies. We dispatch within 2–3 working days; delivery usually takes 3–5 days more depending on location.
Because most pieces are single, hand-woven items, we accept returns only for damage in transit or if the wrong item was sent. Please report issues with photographs within 48 hours of delivery.
Privacy
We store your name, contact details and order history to fulfil orders and, if you ask, to keep you posted on new pieces. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details.
